1. What cookies are
Cookies are files that a website may store on a device to remember information or recognise the browser. Other technologies, such as localStorage, allow information to be stored locally without it being automatically sent with every HTTP request. This policy of Vullkanfest covers both technologies, following the information and consent criteria in the AEPD Cookie Guide and Article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE.
2. Types and categories
- Technical: necessary to save and apply your choice. Always active and exempt from consent when serving this purpose.
- Preferences: remember choices or enable optional features. No first-party optional services are active in this category.
- Analytics: measure usage. This category is prepared, but there are no active analytics, GA4 or similar tools.
- Advertising / third parties: allows the external Google Maps service. No Meta Pixel or advertising pixels are active.
Cookies may be first-party or third-party, and session-based or persistent. Google Maps is grouped under "Advertising / third parties" to make the external connection explicit; this does not mean that this website uses an advertising pixel.
3. Inventory of technologies used
The technical decision is stored in localStorage, not in an HTTP cookie. Before third parties are accepted, the Google Maps iframe is not loaded. Once authorised, Google determines which cookies or storage it uses depending on the session and browser. No identifiers or durations are declared that could not be verified.
Provider information: Google Cookies and Google Privacy . Google may process the IP address and device data; international transfers are governed by its applicable safeguards.
4. How to manage consent
On your first visit you may accept all categories, reject the optional ones, or configure your choice with equal ease. The technical category cannot be disabled in the panel because it stores that decision. The "Load map (accepts Google cookies)" button authorises third parties only and keeps the other settings unchanged.
We store your choice for 12 months together with the policy version. You will be asked again when it expires, the version changes or this storage is deleted. If the browser prevents saving, the choice only applies during the visit and will be requested again when you return.
5. Withdrawing consent
You may open "Configure cookies", disable categories and save, or select "REJECT". Withdrawal prevents further optional loads and removes the embedded map, but does not undo transmissions already made. This website cannot delete cookies from Google's domain: remove them through your browser and the provider's own settings. Rejecting third parties does not prevent you from viewing festival information or buying tickets.
7. Updates and contact
This policy will be updated whenever the technologies or purposes change. New optional services will not be activated without the corresponding consent. For enquiries, please contact [Pending completion]. Last updated: [Pending completion].
